Etihad Adds Another A350 to Its Growing Fleet
By Travel Expert Mr Plane Guy
Etihad Airways has just welcomed its sixth brand-new A350 into the family! Fresh off the delivery flight from Toulouse, France, this gorgeous aircraft boosts Etihad’s reputation for having one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets flying today.
If you're looking at Etihad flights, this is a great time to book. The A350’s Business Class is an absolute dream, with privacy-focused sliding doors, wireless charging, and top-notch inflight entertainment. And good news for those of us in Economy, the A350 offers comfy ergonomic seats, handy device holders, Bluetooth connectivity, and a seriously upgraded entertainment system that makes any long haul way more enjoyable.
I actually got the chance to experience Etihad economy firsthand onboard their shiny new A350 on a flight from Abu Dhabi to Milan and spoiler alert, it was a fantastic journey!
You can check out my full Etihad review here where I cover everything from the seats and food to the entertainment and service.
If Abu Dhabi is part of your travel plans (and it should be!), don’t just breeze through the airport. It’s an incredible city to explore, whether you have a full week or just a long layover. I put together my Top 5 Things to Do in Abu Dhabi right here trust me, there’s so much more to discover beyond the terminal.

The A350 isn’t just stylish and comfortable; it’s one of the most sustainable wide-body jets flying today, with 25% lower CO2 emissions and half the noise footprint of older planes. It’s a win for travellers and for the planet.
Even more exciting, Etihad is launching A350 service to Atlanta this summer, their sixth destination in North America and just one of 16 new routes they’re opening in 2025.
So if you're planning your next trip, it’s a perfect time to fly with Etihad.

Place to stay in Abu Dhabi
I stayed at the Aloft by W hotels, here is the Hotel on Booking.com

Aloft Abu Dhabi is a highly rated hotel, known for its spacious, comfortable rooms and impressive range of amenities, such as a rooftop bar and pool. The location is particularly convenient for those attending events at nearby exhibition centre, the airport is 15 minutes away and the Grand Mosque 5 minutes in an Uber. The breakfast is incredibble and I had the breakfast of champions every morning, offering a great start to the day.
