The Executive by Escape Lounges Manchester Terminal 2
The Executive by Escape Lounges is Manchester Airport Terminal 2's premium lounge offering, promising an upgraded experience compared with a standard airport lounge, with enhanced food and drinks, a more refined space and a quieter place to wait before your flight.
I've now visited The Executive at Manchester Airport myself, so this guide covers the practical details you need before visiting, including where it is, who can use it, what's included and whether Priority Pass is accepted.
Want to know what it's actually like? I've also published my full Executive Lounge Manchester Airport review, covering the food, drinks, atmosphere and whether I think it's worth the premium price.

Quick Answer: The Executive Manchester Airport T2
Terminal: Terminal 2
Lounge: The Executive by Escape Lounges
Priority Pass: No
Opening hours: 3:00am–8:45pm (check current hours)
Access: From 2.5 hours before departure
Best for: Travellers looking for a more premium T2 lounge experience
My verdict: Very nice, but expensive and not quite as “Executive” as I expected.
How Much Does The Executive Manchester Airport Cost?
From £57.99 (pre-book)
Around £69.99 (walk-in)
Important: Prices may vary depending on demand and timing, so this isn’t necessarily a fixed rate.
The Executive is positioned as one of Manchester Airport's premium lounge options, so expect to pay considerably more than you would for a standard Escape or Aspire lounge.
One important consideration is that The Executive doesn't currently accept Priority Pass, so Priority Pass members may find one of Manchester Airport's other lounges offers better value.

What’s Included in The Executive by Escape Lounges Price?
This is where they’re clearly trying to justify the higher price.
Food & Dining
Hot buffet with daily changing dishes
Deli, bakery & dessert section
Fresh salad bar
This is more “restaurant-style lounge” than basic buffet.
Drinks
Wine
Beer
Spirits
Barista coffee and tea
Soft drinks
The drinks selection is included, but one thing surprised me during my visit: I couldn't even order a proper cocktail. Considering The Executive's premium positioning, I found that disappointing.
I've covered the drinks and whether the overall experience really feels “Executive” in my full lounge review.
Facilities
Fast private WiFi
Charging ports
Bathrooms inside the lounge
The Executive Manchester Airport Opening Hours & Access
Opening hours: currently 3:00am–8:45pm
When can I enter? Up to 2.5 hours before your scheduled flight.
Opening hours and access rules can change, so check the current conditions before travelling.
Where Is The Executive Lounge at Manchester Airport?
The Executive by Escape Lounges is located airside in Manchester Airport Terminal 2, so you'll need to pass through security before accessing it. Follow the main escalators to the upper level, go past San Carlo restaurant and head towards the Escape Lounge.
Can You Use Priority Pass at The Executive by Escape Lounges?
No. The Executive by Escape Lounges does not currently accept Priority Pass.
If you have Priority Pass, don't panic there are other lounge options at Manchester Airport. In Terminal 2, Escape Lounge accepts Priority Pass, subject to availability and current access conditions.
I use Priority Pass myself because it gives me lounge options across Manchester and airports around the world without having to pay the individual entry price every time.
You can also see all the current T2 and T3 options in my Best Manchester Airport Lounges 2026 guide.

How I Access Airport Lounges Without Paying Walk-Up Prices
I almost never pay the walk-up price for airport lounges.
Instead, I use Priority Pass.
If you travel even two or three times per year, a membership can easily pay for itself. Especially when lounge entry at airports like Manchester can easily cost £35–£40 per visit.
For most travellers, the Standard Plus plan is the best value. It includes 10 lounge visits per year, which is ideal if you travel a few times annually.
With my reader offer, plans start from around £48, and those visits can quickly pay for themselves.
How Does The Executive Compare With Other Manchester Airport Lounges?
The Executive is Manchester Airport's more premium T2 option, but it isn't necessarily the best choice for everyone, particularly if you already have Priority Pass.
I've compared the current Aspire, Escape and Executive options across Terminals 2 and 3 in my Best Manchester Airport Lounges 2026 guide.
Already have Priority Pass? You may want to consider Escape instead:

Plane Tip: Snap a photo of your car’s bay before you leave. After a week in the sun, future-you will appreciate it.

Is The Executive by Escape Lounges Worth It?
It depends on what you want from an airport lounge. The Executive offers a more polished environment and stronger food offering than a standard lounge, but it also comes with a premium price and doesn't currently accept Priority Pass.Having now tried it myself, I think it's a very nice lounge, but I'm not convinced every traveller needs to pay the premium.Want my complete verdict?
