But now, there’s a major update that changes the game for travellers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at LAX is now accessible to Priority Pass members. Yes, that same swanky lounge once reserved only for Virgin’s Upper Class passengers is now open to a wider audience.
So whether you’re flying economy, premium economy, or with another airline altogether, you can now step inside one of the most stylish lounges in the U.S, if you know how.

Now, Priority Pass has added this premium lounge to its program at LAX, giving members access for just $35 per person. While Priority Pass is typically included with premium credit cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex Platinum, this new addition sets a new benchmark for what travellers can expect, especially in the U.S. lounge scene.
Where and When: Location & Hours
Location: Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), post-security
Hours: Daily from 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Access: Available up to three hours before departure, space permitting
Entry Fee: $35 for Priority Pass members (charged at entry)

Work Pods & Showers: Business travelers will appreciate the connected, private work pods. Showers stocked with Flamingo Estate products are perfect for freshening up after a long day.

Is It Worth $35 for Priority Pass Members?
For many travellers, the idea of paying to access a lounge after already paying for a Priority Pass membership might seem odd. But here’s the thing: most comparable lounges in the U.S. charge $50–$75 for a day pass, and they often don’t include personalized dining or the wellness-focused experience that the Virgin Clubhouse delivers.
This lounge is a premium space in a terminal that seriously lacks good lounge options. By charging $35, Virgin and Priority Pass are ensuring that the lounge stays peaceful, well-stocked, and uncrowded. It’s a fair trade-off.

Not Flying Virgin Atlantic Business Class? You Can Still Get the Clubhouse Experience
This is what makes this update so exciting. In the past, only Virgin Atlantic Business Class (Upper Class) passengers could access Clubhouses at airports like LAX and JFK. Now, even if you're flying in economy or with another airline entirely, Priority Pass members can access the Virgin Clubhouse at LAX, no Virgin Atlantic ticket required.
That means more travellers can enjoy the elevated experience without having to fly premium every time. Of course, if you are flying Upper Class, the experience is included.

Other Priority Pass Lounges at LAX Worth Checking Out
If your travel schedule doesn’t align with the Virgin Clubhouse hours, or if you're in another terminal at LAX, don’t worry, there are other great Priority Pass LAX options too.
Terminal 1: Be Relax Spa
This wellness-focused lounge offers complimentary treatments for Priority Pass members, including a 30-minute massage or mini facial. It’s ideal for long-haul travelers looking to shake off jet lag or prep for a red-eye.
Terminals 3 & 6: Gameway Lounge
Gameway gives travelers a chance to unwind with top-tier gaming consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series S. Add in complimentary snacks and drinks, and this becomes a surprisingly relaxing way to spend a layover.
These lounges aren’t quite at the same luxury level as the Virgin Clubhouse, but they’re still a welcome break from crowded terminals and they’re included with standard Priority Pass membership tiers.
Priority Pass JFK: Virgin Clubhouse Access on the East Coast
If you're flying out of New York, good news: the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at JFK also offers access to Priority Pass members on select days and times. Like the LAX Clubhouse, there's a $35 access fee and limited hours, but the experience is just as exceptional.
Located in Terminal 4, this lounge offers everything from an elegant bar to shower facilities and a full-service restaurant setup. It's one of the nicest lounges in the NYC area and a great place to relax before a transatlantic flight.
Extend the Luxury: Palm Springs & Las Vegas
