Big news for anyone planning a trip to Dubai (or beyond) this winter: Emirates is stepping up its London flights in a major way. From 26 October 2025, the airline will add a brand-new Heathrow–Dubai frequency, meaning Emirates will now fly six A380s plus one Boeing 777 out of Heathrow every day, except Fridays.
That takes Emirates’ Heathrow schedule to 48 weekly flights, with a total of up to 13 daily flights from London airports combined once you factor in Gatwick and Stansted.
The new Emirates Heathrow service
Unlike Emirates’ usual A380s at Heathrow, this extra frequency will be operated by a three-class Boeing 777-300ER – giving you another option if you want a slightly different onboard experience.
Emirates Expands in London
Here’s how the new EK41/42 timings look:
Dubai → Heathrow (EK41)
Departs Dubai at 13:40 (Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun) / 12:55 (Thu)
Arrives Heathrow 17:40 / 16:55
Heathrow → Dubai (EK42)
Departs Heathrow at 22:35 (Mon, Wed, Sun) / 21:20 (Tue, Thu, Sat)
Arrives Dubai next morning at 09:35 / 08:20
Perfect for maximising your Dubai holiday – evening departure, morning arrival, and straight into the sunshine.

Emirates Premium Economy and new aircraft
If you’ve been following Emirates’ updates, you’ll know they’ve started rolling out their Premium Economy cabinacross both the A380 and the brand-new Emirates A350. I recently reviewed it in detail here: Emirates Premium Economy A350 – Is It Worth It?.
Think wider seats, better meals, and a glass of champagne the moment you sit down – it’s one of the best upgrades for long-haul travel without going full Business Class.
With Emirates’ expanding London schedule, more of these aircraft will be available across Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted, giving UK travellers more chances to try Premium Economy for their Dubai holidays or connecting flights to Asia, Australia and beyond.
Where to Stay in Dubai

Emirates Holidays Dubai – Where to Stay
Let’s be honest: half the fun of flying Emirates is knowing what’s waiting for you in Dubai. With up to 90 weekly flights from London this winter, it’s easier than ever to combine the airline with a luxury hotel package.
Here are a few standout Dubai hotel deals I’ve spotted (via Luxury Escapes):

Fairmont Dubai – 3 nights from £359 total, with daily meals, free child stay, and spa vouchers.
Raffles Dubai – 3 nights from £459 total, including exclusive Club Lounge access with afternoon tea and evening drinks.
25hours Hotel One Central – 3 nights from £329 total, with wine on arrival and rooftop views.
Palazzo Versace Dubai – 3 nights from £660 total, pure luxury with designer glamour.

Sofitel Dubai The Palm – 3 nights from £459 total, including breakfast, lunch or dinner, spa credit and late checkout.

These offers are often up to 60% off standard prices – and when you pair them with a direct Emirates flight, you’ve got the perfect Emirates Holiday package.

Why this Emirates to London flights matters for UK travellers
More choice of departure times – whether you want an early evening or late-night flight.
Better connectivity via Dubai – if you’re heading further east, extra flights mean smoother layovers.
Premium Economy options expanding – giving more affordable comfort for long-haul trips.
Easier short breaks – with so many daily flights, a long weekend in Dubai is now totally doable.

And if you’re comparing airlines, don’t forget Qatar Airways is also ramping up its London schedule to 10 daily Heathrow Doha flights this winter.
