Using Priority Pass at Gatwick Airport

Priority Pass at Gatwick gives you access to several airport lounges across both the North and South terminals, including No1 Lounge, My Lounge, Plaza Premium and Aspire. Clubrooms can also be available with an additional supplement.

But not every Gatwick Airport lounge accepts Priority Pass, and access isn't always guaranteed when lounges are busy.

I've reviewed many of the lounges at Gatwick myself, so this guide explains exactly which Gatwick lounges accept Priority Pass, where to find them and which one I'd choose.

In this guide I’ll explain:

• which lounges accept Priority Pass at Gatwick

• which terminals they are located in

• what restrictions you should know before visiting

I've reviewed most of the Gatwick Airport lounges myself, from No1 Lounge and Clubrooms to Aspire, My Lounge, Plaza Premium and the British Airways lounge.

Priority Pass Gatwick Deal

If you're simply looking for the best overall lounge at Gatwick, you can read my full guide here:

Which Gatwick Lounges Accept Priority Pass?

London Gatwick has two terminals:

North Terminal

South Terminal

Both terminals have lounges that accept Priority Pass, although availability can vary during busy travel periods.

Priority Pass Lounges, Gatwick North Terminal

If you're departing from Gatwick North Terminal, these lounges usually accept Priority Pass.

No1 Lounge Gatwick North Review

No1 Lounge Gatwick North

One of the most popular airport lounges at Gatwick.

It offers:

• buffet food

• alcoholic drinks

• runway views

• comfortable seating areas

Priority Pass usually grants access here, although during busy periods entry may be restricted.

Plaza premium Lounge Gatwick North

Plaza Premium Lounge Gatwick North

The Plaza Premium Lounge is one of the more modern lounges at the airport.

Highlights include:

• quieter seating areas

• better food quality than many lounges

• modern design and lighting

This lounge generally accepts Priority Pass but can occasionally reach capacity.

Clubrooms Gatwick North Review

Clubrooms Gatwick North (Supplement Required)

Clubrooms is the premium lounge experience at Gatwick.

Expect:

• table service

• higher-quality food

• a quieter atmosphere

Priority Pass members can sometimes enter with a small additional supplement.

My Lounge Gatwick North Terminal Review

My Lounge Gatwick North

My Lounge is the more casual, family-friendly alternative to a traditional airport lounge.

Expect:

• self-service food and drinks

• alcoholic drinks

• games and entertainment

• relaxed seating

• a much more informal atmosphere

It's particularly good for families, although travellers looking for a quieter or more premium experience may prefer No1 Lounge or Plaza Premium. Priority Pass usually grants access here

Gatwick South Terminal, this area is known as "the queens head"

Priority Pass Lounges, Gatwick South Terminal

If you're flying British Airways from Gatwick, your flight will depart from South Terminal.

Here are the lounges that usually accept Priority Pass.

No1 Lounge Gatwick South Terminal Review

No1 Lounge Gatwick South

This is one of the most reliable Priority Pass lounges in South Terminal.

You’ll find:

• buffet dining

• bar service

• runway views

During peak travel periods entry may occasionally be limited.

👉 You can read my full review here: No1 Lounge Gatwick South

My Lounge Gatwick South

My Lounge is the more relaxed lounge option.

Expect:

  • casual seating

  • self-service food

  • entertainment areas

  • outside terrace & smoking area

It's a much more casual lounge than Clubrooms or No1 Lounge, with a relaxed, informal atmosphere. ( Review coming soon, I'm visiting in September)

Clubrooms Gatwick South Review

Clubrooms Gatwick South (Supplement Required)

Clubrooms South offers a quieter, more premium lounge experience.

It typically requires a supplement for Priority Pass members, but many travellers feel the upgrade is worth it for the calmer atmosphere.

Expect:

• table service

• higher-quality food

• a quieter atmosphere

• premium cocktails

Gatwick South Terminal entrance lifts

Aspire Gatwick South

Aspire Lounge London Gatwick South Terminal

The Aspire Lounge Gatwick South is another Priority Pass option for passengers departing from the South Terminal.

Expect:

• Buffet of warm and cold food

• a quieter atmosphere

• airport views

I've visited the Aspire Lounge myself, you can see what I thought of the food, seating and overall experience in my full review.

Gatwick Lounges That Do NOT Accept Priority Pass

Some airport lounges at Gatwick are airline-specific and do not accept Priority Pass.

These include:

  • British Airways Galleries Lounge

  • Emirates Lounge

These lounges are usually reserved for business class passengers or airline elite status members.

Which Priority Pass Lounge at Gatwick Is Best?

Best Gatwick North Priority Pass lounge: Plaza Premium, my choice if you want the smartest overall experience.

Best for families: My Lounge, much more informal and family-friendly.

Best traditional airport lounge: No1 Lounge, food, drinks and a classic lounge environment.

Best premium experience: Clubrooms, particularly if you don't mind paying the additional supplement.

Best Gatwick South Priority Pass lounge: Clubrooms, my pick for the best overall experience if you're happy to pay the supplement.

Best without paying for Clubrooms: No1 Lounge, my choice for a more traditional lounge experience.

Which Terminal Do British Airways Use at Gatwick?

All British Airways flights from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) operate from South Terminal.

That means BA passengers will find:

• check-in desks in South Terminal

• security and Fast Track in South Terminal

• the British Airways lounge at Gatwick South Terminal

• most short-haul and long-haul BA departures in the same terminal

Is Priority Pass Worth It at Gatwick?

If you regularly fly from Gatwick, this is one of the UK airports where Priority Pass can make a lot of sense because there are participating lounge options in both terminals.

Paying for airport lounge access separately can quickly add up, particularly if you travel several times each year.

For me, the calculation is fairly simple:

If you're likely to use an airport lounge three or more times a year, compare the cost of individual lounge visits with a Priority Pass membership before booking separately.

Membership can also give you access to 1,900+ airport lounges and travel experiences worldwide, so you're not buying something that's only useful at Gatwick.

Can Priority Pass Guarantee Lounge Access at Gatwick?

No. Priority Pass membership does not guarantee that you'll be admitted to a Gatwick lounge.

Participating lounges can restrict Priority Pass entry when they're busy, particularly during peak departure periods. If lounge access is particularly important to you, check whether your chosen lounge allows you to pre-book or reserve access before travelling.

I also recommend checking the Priority Pass app before heading to the airport because participating lounges and access conditions can change.

use the Priority Pass app to pre book your Airport lounge visit.

Summary of Priority Pass at Gatwick Airport

Plane Honest: Is Priority Pass Good at Gatwick?

Priority Pass can be a useful way to access airport lounges at Gatwick without needing a business class ticket.

Just remember:

• not every lounge accepts Priority Pass

• some lounges restrict entry during busy periods

• Clubrooms usually requires a supplement

But if you travel regularly, it can still be one of the easiest ways to make your airport experience far more comfortable.
