This week I've been planning ahead for 2026 booking some flights and taking advantage of some amazing travel deals, I took out an easyJet Plus card as i know it will be well used! Virgin Atlantic Launches 70% Bonus on Virgin Points, Last Call 31 December
Virgin Atlantic has brought back one of its biggest Flying Club promotions of the year, offering up to a 70% bonus when you buy Virgin Points, available until 31 December 2025.
The headline tier allows members to buy 125,000–300,000 points with a full 70% bonus, temporarily lifting the usual annual purchase cap to 300,000 points. At the top “sweet spot”, this means 212,500 Virgin Points for £1,875, before any credit card bonuses.
With Virgin reward flights, Premium upgrades and Upper Class redemptions for 2026 all firmly in view, this is one of the strongest buying windows of the year for Flying Club members, but only if you already plan to redeem.
British Airways Unveils New Summer 2026 Routes Plus Air France Returns to Gatwick!
British Airways has revealed a fresh batch of sun-soaked new routes for summer 2026, including Toulon from London (twice weekly) for Provence beaches and seafood, new direct Glasgow–San Sebastián flights to the Basque coast, and an expansion of Olbia, Sardinia services with new departures from London Stansted alongside Heathrow.
At the same time, Air France is officially launching Paris CDG–London Gatwick flights from 29 March 2026, with four daily services, putting Gatwick firmly back on the full-service European network map.
