Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) has just welcomed a brand-new addition to its passenger experience, the Aspire Executive Lounge, the very first of its kind in Italy. For frequent flyers, business travellers, or anyone wanting to start their trip with a touch of comfort, this is big news.
Located before security on the second floor above check-in counters 24–48, the lounge is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. For now, it’s being introduced as a limited-time concept, planned to run for nine months, but if demand is high (and it almost certainly will be), Swissport may keep it going longer.

What to Expect Inside the Aspire Lounge Venice
The Aspire Executive Lounge covers 330 square metres and can host 73 guests at a time. Despite its relatively compact size, it’s designed to pack in plenty of features:
Business centre and meeting rooms – perfect if you need to work before your flight.
Quiet zone and charging stations – ideal for recharging yourself and your devices.
High-speed Wi-Fi – included for all guests.
Complimentary food and drinks – expect Italian regional specialties, cheeses, pastries, and a solid drink selection (alcohol included).
Aspire has partnered with local suppliers to showcase seasonal, Venetian-sourced ingredients, which means fresher food, shorter delivery routes, and a more sustainable approach.
Another perk? Fast-track security access is included in the lounge entry fee, though note this excludes passengers flying direct to the United States.
Looking for a smart way to manage travel spending?

Access and Pricing
Entry costs €49 per person, and that price is the same for adults and children. Unlike many lounges, this one is also open to non-travelling guests, so if you’re waiting for someone to arrive, you can still head in.
If you’re not keen on paying €49 every time, here’s where Priority Pass really shines.
Top Tip: Save Money with Priority Pass
Instead of paying lounge fees on the spot, you can get worldwide lounge access at a fraction of the price with Priority Pass.
With my exclusive 30% discount code, you’ll pay just £48/year (normally £69). That brings the cost of each lounge visit down to around £24 which includes unlimited food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable space away from the departure gate chaos.
Priority Pass gives you access to over 1,700 travel experiences globally, including multiple lounges at Venice Marco Polo Airport, like the Marco Polo Club Lounge after security.

Why This Matters for Travellers
Venice Airport has seen a big increase in passenger numbers recently, and the demand for premium lounge services in Italy is growing fast. Swissport, which operates Aspire lounges worldwide, has said this is just the start of their expansion in Italy, so we may see more lounges popping up in Milan, Rome, or other major airports.
And if you’re planning your journey onward, don’t forget: the airport can be a little tricky to navigate in terms of ground transport. I’ve put together a full guide on

Final Boarding Call
The new Aspire Executive Lounge at Venice Marco Polo Airport is a welcome upgrade for travellers passing through this busy Italian hub. With its Italian-inspired menu, comfortable seating, strong Wi-Fi, and the bonus of fast-track security, it’s a great choice for those willing to pay €49 for convenience and comfort.
Priority Pass members may prefer using one of the post-security lounges already included in their membership, but the Aspire Lounge stands out for its pre-security location and open-door policy for non-travellers.
For now, it’s a nine-month trial, but if Venice passengers embrace it, expect Aspire to stick around and maybe even expand across Italy.
