TUI is back with another long haul beauty for Northern Ireland travellers – a direct flight from Belfast International Airport to Cancun is set to launch just in time for Easter 2026. If you’re dreaming of tacos on the beach, all-inclusive mojitos, and a proper sunshine recharge, this one’s for you.
The first flight departs Monday, 30 March 2026, giving you two full weeks (yes, 14 nights) in Mexico’s Caribbean paradise. Ideal for families, couples or anyone sick of grey skies and soggy pints.
What’s So Good About Cancun with TUI?
This isn’t just any getaway TUI’s Cancun holidays come with the full package:
Direct flights on the TUI Dreamliner from Belfast
Over 70 hotel options along the Riviera Maya coastline
Return flights, transfers, checked luggage, and meals included (if you go all-inclusive — which, let’s be real, you should)
You’ll land in Cancun International Airport, the gateway to sun-drenched favourites like Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and those iconic jungle-backed beaches.
Expect temperatures in the mid-20s to low 30s, around 9 hours of sunshine a day, and enough time to explore Mayan ruins, enjoy tequila tastings, or float in a cenote with a GoPro and some questionable sunburn.

Which Plane? What’s the TUI Dreamliner Like?
You’ll be flying on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner – TUI’s flagship for long haul routes. If you’ve never flown TUI long haul before, here’s a quick vibe check:
TUI Premium offers extra legroom, priority boarding, upgraded meals, and complimentary drinks (a serious upgrade if you're doing the 10+ hour flight)
Even Economy passengers get a decent seat pitch, inflight meals, movies, and USB ports.

Pre-Flight Tip: Belfast Has a Priority Pass Lounge
If you’re flying from Belfast International, don’t forget there’s a Priority Pass lounge you can use before your flight. It’s called Causeway Lounge, and it’s ideal for grabbing a quiet seat, free snacks, a cheeky drink or two, and charging your gear before the long haul.

It’s worth it for peace of mind, especially when you’re flying to the other side of the world.
