Updated October 2025: Situated at London's second busiest airport Gatwick, specifically in the South terminal, this terminal is where British Airways, Wizz Air, Norse airlines and a handful of other airlines fly from.I would have to say that this is the best lounge Gatwick south and a Gatwick premium lounge.
Conveniently located on the upper level of the departure lounge, adjacent to JD Sports, Clubrooms offers a relaxing escape before your flight oh and NO children are allowed in the Clubrooms!
This is what's included at Clubrooms Gatwick South,
Complimentary food menu served at your table
The lounge serves a variety of complimentary alcoholic, soft, and hot drinks. Cocktails may be available, depending on staffing and timing
Amenities include Free Wi-Fi, newspapers, and magazines to keep guests entertained while they relax.
The seating areas feature large windows overlooking the runway, perfect for av-geeks.
Check in was very professional, it was like walking into really dark high end vibe swanky over priced London club.
The lounge was exceptionally tidy, staff were genuinely engaging and so pleasant. I was shown to a seating area and the staff member working the section were I was sat, was super friendly and attentive, talking to everyone whilst bringing around the bubbly!
Food is all table served here, no buffets to over eat in an attempt to get value for money! It's a lovely selection, here is the breakfast menu I had during my visit.

I opted for the vegetarian breakfast, they also accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements. With a help yourself coffee & tea machines, fridges of soft drinks and a small selection of pastries.

Clubrooms Gatwick North Ambiance & Decor
The atmosphere here is like a high-end swanky London club meets Argos, with a buzz of conversation and mix of holiday makers. Clearly it can get busy here, especially during peak times, however the staff remained engaging and attentive.
Whether you're trying to escape the bustling Weatherspoon crowd or simply want to enjoy a more tranquil setting, Clubrooms at Gatwick South Terminal is an excellent choice.
The lounge was very busy, I was visiting on a quiet Wednesday morning at London Gatwick in mid October! Nearly all tables and seats taken, making things tricky to get photos/videos/selfies etc, it was shoulder to shoulder like a densely packed low cost flight to Malaga. 'Drinkypoo's' time, a bit early for me so I went for a bucks fizz whilst I was 'making my mind up' over brekkie options.(You will only get this reference if you're over 40 and live in the UK.)

The lounge was quite noisy, a buzz and clinks of alcohol at 0800 that brits do so well!
It was so easy to lounge and relax here, that I almost forgot I had a flight to catch and my phone buzzing with the notification of "go to gate" gave me that nudge of anxiety and prompt to leave as the Clubrooms, the party was over!
Best Bits at Clubrooms Gatwick South
All the staff members were consistently attentive and showed great attention to detail and genuinely seemed driven to make the passengers happy and welcome!

Bad Bits at Clubrooms Gatwick South
The toilet could have been cleaner and the finish was grotty, not really giving high end,. but I am being very picky!!
Final Boarding Call
Is this the BEST Airport Lounges at London Gatwick South Terminal?
If you want a lounge to get away from the pint guzzling Weatherspoon's airport crowd then Clubrooms is for you (it's more Prosecco guzzling). I wouldn't say it's a high end lounge but it's the best you will get out of all the lounges in Gatwick Airport South terminal and a Gatwick premium lounge.
Open daily from 06:00 until 18:00 (Last entry at 17:00)
Adult (12+) from £48
No children are allowed in the Clubrooms!
Don't forget to join Priority Pass, you will get this lounge for around £24! The Priority Pass is for the year getting you access to over 1,400+ lounges in over 600 cities across 148 countries! Normally From just £69, but if you use my link just £48!

Clubrooms vs No1 Lounge Gatwick South, Which Is Better?
Plane Tip: If you’re choosing between Clubrooms and the No1 Lounge at Gatwick South, the difference mainly comes down to ambience and value.
Clubrooms feel more exclusive and serene, with table service, and a quieter atmosphere, ideal if you want to unwind before a long flight.
Meanwhile, the No1 Lounge at Gatwick South offers a more social vibe with self-service dining, a larger space.

Whether you're starting your journey from Gatwick or Heathrow, Clubrooms continues to set the standard for a refined pre-flight escape.
