Edinburgh Christmas Markets, Here is my guide check it out!
Situate in Edinburgh's West End, the Roseate was recently awarded a 5-star rating property
The Dunstane Restaurant and Bar hosts all-day dining and daily afternoon tea, as well as gin and whisky tastings.
It serves a great selection of ales from some of Scotland’s micro-brewers and has over 100 types of whiskies and over 30 different craft gins. It also has a food menu with local, seasonal Scottish produce. The hotel is made up of two victorian houses on opposite sides of the road. The hotel has restored many of its original features and is decorated to a really high standard.
Guest Reviews
Beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service. I was given the warmest of welcomes, the staff are highly professional, friendly and caring. First impressions made me feel like a valued customer and attention to every detail is outstanding. I will be staying again and recommend this hotel to any visitor to our beautiful capital. The warmth and care I was shown throughout my stay was genuine and unrehearsed.
The Best Bits at The Roseate Edinburgh
The breakfast of Scottish champions! Breakfast was so good here!
Bad Bits at The Roseate Edinburgh
It's around a 20 minute walk into town or you can jump on a bus right outside the hotel. It's not really a bad bit as such, it's very close to Murrayfield stadium. If your getting the tram from the airport get off at this tram stop and its a few minutes walk.
Summary, so what was it like staying at The Roseate Edinburgh
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, exuding charm and comfort. The decor is ideal for a winter getaway, creating a cozy atmosphere with its roaring fires and attention to detail in the decor and service!
Things to do in Edinburgh
One of my favourite things to do in Edinburgh is the Ghost tour, this is so much fun!
I also loved the Royal Yacht Britannia which is in a dock in Leith its attached to a really great mall called Ocean terminal, so its good to combine it with a bit of shopping!

Flights to Edinburgh
I was lucky enough to book a flight from London Luton to Edinburgh for £10! Yes £10 as Trip.com were having amazing sale on, they always have such great offers, do check them out. Obviously my train ticket to Luton airport was considerably more than the flight.
Trains to Edinburgh
Of course it may be easier to get the train to Edinburgh, here is a link to Trainline to compare fares.
