If you're flying out of Gatwick and want to start your trip in comfort, this guide to Gatwick airport lounges is for you. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a decent buffet, or somewhere to get a quick drink before your flight, Gatwick has plenty of lounge options in both terminals.

The South Terminal offers a mix of premium lounges and more casual, budget-friendly spaces. Here's what you need to know about each one.
My Lounge – Gatwick South
Price: From £38 Rating: 4/5 Best for: Relaxed atmosphere and value for money
My Lounge in the South Terminal turned out to be the best value of all the Gatwick airport lounges. It’s low-key, comfortable, and offers everything you really need, decent food, self-service beer and wine, fast Wi-Fi, and even an outdoor terrace where smoking is permitted.
The food isn’t gourmet, but it’s smartly chosen: beef hotpot, jerk sweet potato with rice, and chicken pasta. Simple, filling, and hard to mess up.
If you don’t care about sparkling wine or fine dining, and just want a great space to chill, eat, and get a drink before your flight, this is the one.
Clubrooms – Gatwick South
Price: From £42 Rating: 4/5 Best for: Quiet luxury and table service
Clubrooms Gatwick South is where you go for a more exclusive, premium feel. It’s adults-only, quieter, and includes table service with upgraded food choices like Thai red curry, chicken burgers, and fig and goat’s cheese salad.
The toilet area was a little grotty, at over £40 per person, this really takes away from the luxury experience.
Still, if you’re looking for a quieter and more private environment than the busier lounges, and can overlook the facilities, it could be worth it.
No1 Lounge – Gatwick South
Price: From £38 Rating: 4/5 Best for: Stylish space with great views
No1 Lounge South looks impressive on first entry. You get a bright, modern space with great views of the runway and a range of seating options. Sparkling wine is included, and the buffet offers hot and cold items.
However, the hygiene again let things down, grubby toilets in a premium lounge simply shouldn’t happen. The experience didn’t match the expectations set by the decor and price tag.
Still, for plane-spotting and a stylish start, it may suit those who value aesthetics over function.

Aspire Lounge – Gatwick South
Price: From £34–£40 Rating: 3/5 Best for: Standard all-rounder experience
The Aspire Lounge is a good middle-ground choice. It offers hot breakfast items in the morning, light lunches in the afternoon, and has a well-stocked bar. It’s not luxurious, but it’s reliable.
The space can get a bit crowded at peak times, but it’s a decent upgrade from the terminal chaos without blowing the budget.
British Airways Lounge – Gatwick South
Access: Business class or Executive Club status onlyRating: 4/5Best for: BA premium flyers
If you’re flying British Airways in business class or have the right status, this lounge is excellent. Expect a calmer atmosphere, quality food and drinks, and plenty of seating. This isn’t available to book like the other lounges, access is limited to eligible passengers.

No1 Lounge – Gatwick North
Price: From £38 Rating: 3.5/5 Best for: Stylish lounge with drinks included
No1 Lounge in the North Terminal is one of the better Gatwick airport lounges overall. The space is large, open, and offers excellent views of the runway. Sparkling wine is included, and the food is good, not outstanding, but definitely a step up from the terminal.
Cleanliness and crowd control were better here than in its South Terminal counterpart. It’s a great option if you’re flying from the North and want a premium experience at a reasonable price.
Clubrooms – Gatwick North
Price: From £42 Rating: 3/5 Best for Privacy and upgraded meals
Clubrooms Gatwick North was peaceful and spacious, with great food options. However, once again, cleanliness was an issue. It’s hard to justify the premium price when facilities don’t meet expectations.
Still, for travellers who value quiet and full-service dining, this remains an option, just perhaps not the best value compared to others.
My Lounge – Gatwick North
Price: From £38 Rating: 3.5/5 Best for: Laid-back travellers and families
Similar to the South Terminal version, My Lounge here is relaxed and informal. With casual seating, games, and self-service drinks, it’s perfect if you’re not after a premium feel and just want somewhere quiet to eat, work, or unwind.
It’s also a top pick for families, thanks to its comfortable layout and relaxed vibe.
Plaza Premium Lounge – Gatwick North
Price: From £40 Rating: 4/5 Best for: Convenience, but not luxury
I really liked this former Virgin Atlantic lounge, it had a great feel with lots of light. I enjoyed the food, I found it both fresh and tasty. I would defiantly recommend this lounge if you're jetting off from London Gatwick's North terminal.

Plaza Express – Gatwick North
Price: From £25 Rating: 2.5/5 Best for: Quick, no-frills stop
Plaza Express is a stripped-back lounge designed for shorter stays. You won’t get a full buffet or luxurious seating, but it’s fine for a quick snack and a drink before your flight.
Ideal for travellers with just a short wait or tight budget.
The Smartest Way Into Gatwick Lounges (Without Paying £40 at the Door)
Most Gatwick lounges charge £38–£42 per visit.

If you’re flying twice this year and paying £40 each time, you’re already close to covering the cost of membership.
For most travellers, Standard Plus is the best value (10 included visits). Fly a few times a year and it usually pays for itself fast.
