All long-haul flights from British Airways Gatwick Terminal are operated with a three-class configuration: Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy), and World Traveller (economy). The aircraft were refurbished in 2018-2019, featuring updated in-flight entertainment and refreshed cabin interiors.

Passengers flying in World Traveller (economy class) can expect a comfortable journey
with the following features:
Seat Configuration: The Boeing 777s at Gatwick feature a 3-4-3 layout in economy class, with seats offering 31 inches of pitch and adjustable headrests.
In-Flight Entertainment: Each seat has a personal seat-back screen with a variety of movies, TV shows, music, and games.
Complimentary Catering: British Airways provides a full meal service, including a main meal, snack, and drinks (including alcoholic beverages).
Baggage Allowance: Passengers receive one checked bag (23kg) included in standard economy fares, plus a carry-on bag.

British Airways will operate up to 40 short-haul routes from Gatwick Airport this summer, marking one of its biggest schedules in years. These flights are operated by BA Euroflyer, the airline’s Gatwick-based subsidiary, offering the same service and benefits as mainline British Airways flights.

Some key short-haul destinations include:
Spain: Alicante, Ibiza, Tenerife, Malaga
Italy: Catania, Verona, Bari
Greece: Corfu, Rhodes, Kos
France: Nice, Bordeaux, Montpellier
Portugal: Faro, Porto, Funchal
British Airways Gatwick Terminal and Passenger Experience
All British Airways flights operate from the South Terminal at Gatwick. The terminal offers various amenities, including duty-free shopping, restaurants, and British Airways lounges for premium passengers.
Check-in & Bag Drop
Check-in closes 60 minutes before long-haul departures and 45 minutes before short-haul departures.
Security clearance is required at least 35 minutes before departure.
Business class passengers and Executive Club members can use Fast Track security for a quicker experience.
Overnight bag drop is available for flights departing before 1pm the next day.
