Club Aspire offers decent food, comfortable seating and a quieter atmosphere than the terminal itself, but it can become crowded during peak British Airways departure times.
For most travellers though, it's still significantly better than waiting at the gate.
Is Club Aspire Heathrow Terminal 5 Worth It?
This is a common question, and the answer depends on several factors. For many travellers, the Club Aspire Lounge offers excellent value. Heathrow can be a hectic stressy airport, and the chance for an airport lounge at a reduced cost is a vibe! Especially during busy travel periods.
Comfort: The lounge provides plush seating, quiet areas, and a much more relaxed environment than the general terminal. This is especially important if you’re travelling long-haul and want to relax before a lengthy flight.
Food and Drinks: The Club Aspire Lounge offers a selection of snacks, hot and cold drinks, and even some light meals. For many, this is an upgrade compared to the overpriced food options in the terminal.

If you're travelling during the morning or early evening rush, I'd recommend arriving early to secure one of the better seats near the windows.

One of the biggest benefits of visiting the Club Aspire Lounge Heathrow Terminal 5 is the complimentary food and drink. While it isn't luxury dining, it's a huge upgrade from paying Heathrow Airport prices in the terminal.
During my visit, the lounge offered:

Is the Food Worth It?
Let's be honest, Heathrow isn't cheap.
A coffee, sandwich and soft drink in Terminal 5 can easily cost £15-£20+, so having unlimited access to complimentary food and drinks is one of the biggest advantages of lounge access.

If both lounges have availability, I'd personally choose Plaza Premium.
The food quality feels slightly better, the seating is more premium and the overall atmosphere feels more upmarket. It simply feels like a more polished Heathrow lounge experience.
That said, Club Aspire is often easier to access and still offers excellent value through Priority Pass. If Plaza Premium is full, I wouldn't hesitate to use Club Aspire instead.

Either lounge is a huge improvement over waiting in the busy Terminal 5 departure area.
