Heathrow Terminal 4 isn’t exactly known for zen energy. So when a lounge charges £47.52 for two hours, the real question isn’t “is it nice?”
It’s… is it worth nearly fifty quid?
Located next to Gate 10 on Level 2, it promises calm above the Terminal 4 chaos. But did it deliver the premium vibes?
Well thanks to my Priority Pass I only paid £24 to get in, so this was amazing value and worth it!
As an international travel blogger with “big influencer energy”, I didn’t pay £47.52. I paid £24 using Priority Pass.
And at that price? It hits differently.

Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow T4 First Impressions: Contemporary lounge but Crowded
Right from check-in, you’ll notice that the Plaza Premium Lounge is a hot spot. The friendly staff makes the check-in process so easy, no queues here and you’ll be relaxing within minutes. Once inside, it was clear that I wasn’t the only one who’d thought of escaping the crowds, tables were being shared and the buffet area reminded me of the M25 at rush hour! It wasn’t chaos, but it definitely wasn’t tranquil either.
The lounge has a limited capacity, so it could definitely use more space to accommodate the high demand as London Heathrow is one of the world's busiest airports. Still, I found a cosy corner after a bit of patient seat-watching and settled in for a comfortable break from the terminal chaos.
What’s Included in Plaza Premium Lounge Heathrow Terminal 4?
The Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 4 comes fully stocked with all the essentials to make your wait more enjoyable. Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll find:
Food and Drink: A buffet with a mix of casseroles, rice, roast potatoes, two different soup options, a salad bar, cheeses, sandwiches and cakes for a sweet treat. There’s also a self-serve beer tap, plus wine and spirits, along with soft drinks and coffee machines.

Comfort and Connectivity: The seating options are varied, from comfy chairs to functional workspaces, unfortunately when I visited it was a case of grab which seat you could. The lounge is well-equipped with charging stations for all your devices, so you can stay connected and powered up.
Ambience and Decor: The decor is modern and light, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the runway, which is a dream for aviation enthusiasts like moi.
The lounge also has separate male and female prayer rooms for private spiritual reflection, and shower facilities
Which Lounge is The Best in Heathrow Terminal 4?
Just two lounges at Heathrow’s Terminal 4, the Plaza Premium Lounge stands out for its attentive service, well-curated food and drink selection, and its stylish decor. The other option is Blush Lounge by Plaza Premium Group, this looks like an even smaller lounge!
My favourite lounge at Heathrow has to be Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouse in Terminal 3. Have you tried it?

How Early Should I Get to Heathrow Terminal 4?
For international flights, Heathrow recommends arriving about 3 hours in advance. If you’re planning to visit the lounge, it’s a good idea to give yourself a little extra time to enjoy the amenities without feeling rushed.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A relaxed hour or so in the lounge before your gate is announced can make your trip all the more enjoyable. You can also pay for a 5 hour visit, perfect for a layover for the day, you can also freshen up with a shower.

Is There a Dress Code for the Plaza Premium Lounge?
The Plaza Premium Lounge doesn’t enforce a strict dress code, but they do ask for smart-casual attire, so leave the beachwear and pyjamas at home. The general rule is to dress comfortably but respectfully, keeping in mind that the lounge is a shared space with a mix of travellers.
Food & Drink Selection Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow T4: Variety to Satisfy All Tastes
When it comes to food, the Plaza Premium lounge does not disappoint. The buffet has a great range, with options for both hearty meals and light snacks. Treat yourself to some comforting casserole and rice, I went for some lighter options a small salad, cheese and little sandwiches. The cakes by the coffee machine made for a nice finish, and I couldn’t help but pour myself a quick pint from the self-serve beer tap, cheers to the small perks of lounge life!

Is Plaza Premium Heathrow T4 Worth Paying For?
Let’s break it down.
2-hour access: £47.52 (as of Feb 2026) £64.80 for up to 5 hours.
With Priority Pass: Approx £24 per visit
That’s almost 50% cheaper.
If you use airport lounges even 3–4 times a year, the savings add up quickly, especially at Heathrow where food and drinks alone can cost £30+.

Plane Tip: Worldwide Lounge Access for Just £24 with Priority Pass
Is It Worth Paying Full Price?
Plane Honest?
At £47.52, I’d have walked out slightly annoyed.
At £24 with Priority Pass? I left feeling smug.
That’s the difference.

London Heathrow Lounge Reviews
Which Priority Pass Plan Makes Most Sense?
If you only plan to visit a lounge once, the Standard plan with 30% off can work well.
But if you fly from Heathrow two or three times a year, Standard Plus usually makes more financial sense.
Why?
Because it includes 10 lounge visits upfront, which can bring your cost per visit down to around £24 or less, depending on the plan price at the time.
Considering Plaza Premium T4 charges £47.52 for just two hours, the maths becomes pretty clear.
A couple of trips and you’ve already covered the cost.
Cancel anytime. No airline ticket required.
Standard Plus usually makes the most sense for UK travellers, 10 visits included and still cheaper than paying £47+ each time.
Cheers to stylish travels!
